This Church occupies an isolated site on the Braydeston hills. Most
of the present church dates from about 1450 and it has Grade1 listed
building status.
In 1948 it was proposed that the parish of Braydeston be merged with
the parishes of Brundall & Witton and it was also proposed that the
church be a chapel of ease. Following an appeal to the Privy
Council, it was decided in July 1950 that Braydeston should remain a
distinct parish with its church fully operational.
The Church membership includes 32 people. They assist with the
services but also look after the building, decorate it for worship,
take responsibility for the management of the Church and organise
fund raising events. We would certainly welcome your assistance with
these activities!
